About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, creative and results-focused Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage daily social media activity across multiple tourism brands.

The role is focused on creating original content, increasing engagement, generating qualified enquiries and supporting direct bookings—not simply publishing posts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan weekly and monthly content calendars across multiple brands
  • Create Reels, short-form videos, carousels, stories and graphics
  • Publish across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
  • Write clear English captions, hooks and calls-to-action
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule for every brand
  • Respond professionally to comments and customer messages
  • Direct qualified booking enquiries to the sales team
  • Research travel trends, competitors and seasonal opportunities
  • Support influencer outreach and tourism collaborations
  • Assist with organic and paid social media campaigns
  • Monitor performance, traffic, enquiries and campaign results
  • Submit daily updates and weekly performance reports

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum two years of professional social media experience
  • Verifiable portfolio of business social media work
  • Ability to create and edit short-form videos independently
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Professional experience using Canva and CapCut
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts
  • Understanding of analytics and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication and organisational skills
  • Tourism, tours, travel, hospitality or aviation experience is preferred
  • Meta Ads or TikTok Ads experience is an advantage

Work Structure and Accountability

  • Full-time contractor position
  • Six working days per week
  • Fixed joining and finishing times
  • One defined daily break
  • Work must be performed from an approved co-working space
  • Daily check-in and end-of-day reporting are mandatory
  • Weekly performance reports must be submitted on time
  • Camera participation is required during scheduled meetings
  • Screen sharing is required during work reviews and training
  • The candidate must remain available during working hours
  • Leave must be approved in advance except in genuine emergencies

Co-Working Space Requirements

This role must be performed from a professional co-working space. Regular work from home, cafés, shared family areas or while travelling is not permitted.

  • Quiet or private area for meetings
  • Access throughout required working hours

  • Proof of workspace before joining

Compensation, Onboarding and Probation

First Two Months €350/Month Monthly contractor fee during the mandatory probation period.
After Successful Probation €450/Month Subject to satisfactory attendance, conduct, reporting and performance.

Mandatory Onboarding

Before beginning active work, the selected candidate must complete the company’s onboarding programme.

Onboarding will cover company knowledge, brands, tourism products, reporting procedures, communication protocols, account access, platform setup and security requirements.

Two-Month Probation Period

The first two months will be a mandatory probation period. Performance will be reviewed weekly.

Attendance and Leave

The monthly contractor fee is based on full attendance during the agreed working schedule.

  • Leave must be requested and approved in writing
  • Emergency absence must be communicated immediately
  • Repeated late arrival may result in disciplinary action
  • Absence outside approved leave may be treated as unpaid time
  • Unpaid absence may be deducted proportionately
  • Repeated attendance problems may lead to termination
