The helicopter flies over Hveradalur valley, one of Iceland’s most powerful geothermal areas, nestled amidst glacial ice at an altitude of 1800 meters. Under favorable conditions, the helicopter can venture through the gap of Kverkfjöll, allowing an up-close encounter with the Kverkjökull glacier tongue and its countless cracks.
